Ralph Silverman, MD

Rachel Cadmus is a physician assistant who specializes in treatment and follow-up care for patients following the diagnosis of a stroke. She ensures patients are receiving the correct medications, therapy (physical/occupational/speech) and support for optimal recovery. In addition, she works with patients to ensure they continue the correct treatment plan to prevent another stroke from occurring. She monitors patients to identify whether further interventions may be needed to decrease the likelihood of another stroke.
Her research interests include assessing stroke treatments that optimize prevention of devastating effects from a stroke, as well as prevention of recurrent strokes.
